What is Ethereum?
Ethereum is a decentralized, open-source blockchain with smart contract functionality. Ether (ETH) is the native cryptocurrency of the platform.
What is a bridge?
A bridge allows you to move NFTs from one blockchain to another.
What is an NFT?
NFT stands for Non-Fungible Token and is a non-interchangeable and unique unit of data stored on a blockchain, a form of digital ledger. Types of NFT data units include digital files such as photos, videos, and audio. Because each token is uniquely identifiable, NFTs differ from blockchain cryptocurrencies.
What is a token?
In the world of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, a token represents a tradable unit of measure.
What is a smart contract?
A smart contract is a set of pre-defined rules between the buyer and the seller in the form of computer code. Smart contracts allow users to securely transact without trusting a central authority (i.e. banks).
What is a blockchain wallet? Can I connect to a different wallet?
Blockchain wallet: A digital wallet that allows users to hold cryptocurrencies and NFTs.
The easiest way to create a wallet is to use a blockchain wallet application. For the ETH Bridge, we currently support:
- Desktop: Metamask
- Mobile: Metamask, Coinbase Wallet and WalletLink
More to come in the future!
Do I have to report this transfer as a taxable event?
Users are responsible for reporting the transfer of any assets to the applicable taxing authorities, in accordance with applicable laws.
Where can I find more information about the beta?

Can I bring non-Mythical NFTs to the Mythical Chain?
No. Mythical Chain only supports Mythical NFTs. Do not try to send other NFTs to Mythical’s contract addresses on Ethereum, since they will be lost. If this does happen, please see further below “I accidentally sent a non-Mythical NFT to the Mythical Chain deposit address, what do I do?”
Can I move more than 1 asset at a time?
No. Only 1 asset can be withdrawn/deposited per transaction.
Can I use my NFT in-game or in the marketplace once I withdraw an item?
No. Once an NFT leaves our platform, it cannot be used or seen in your collection in-game and it also cannot be seen in your collection or sold on our Marketplace. If you would like to see and use the item in-game or see and sell the item on our Marketplace, you must deposit it back onto our platform (gas fees apply).
Can I see my NFT in other marketplaces once it leaves the Mythical chain?
Once an NFT is on Ethereum, it can be shown on marketplaces on the mainnet, if they support that feature. Mythical cannot help the user with issues on mainnet.
Why should I take out my Mythical NFT from the Mythical Chain?
Mythical Games supports more complete ownership of assets. With the ETH Bridge, users can buy/sell/transfer assets using Ethereum.
Why should I bring my Mythical NFT into the Mythical Chain?
Mythical NFTs on the Mythical Platform can be used in Blankos Block Party and can be traded in a safe and curated environment. Additionally, we are better able to provide support for your NFTs if they are on our chain.
What items are available to be withdrawn?
For Beta launch, limited items will be available for withdrawal/deposit. If an item is able to be withdrawn, it will say "withdrawable" on the item's details page. More items will be withdrawable over the duration of this Beta release.
How does an item indicate that it's off chain on the Mythical Marketplace?
Below an item’s description on its marketplace page, where it lists its season, minted, and burn count, there is now an additional tracker to show how many of that item have been taken off chain.
Where can I take my Blanko once it’s on Ethereum to sell?
You can sell on Ethereum marketplaces such as OpenSea and Rarible.
Gas Fees (Transfer Fees)
What is gas? Why do I have to pay it?
Gas fees are payments made by the user to compensate for the computing energy required to process and validate transactions on the Ethereum blockchain.
Users have to pay a gas fee on withdrawals/deposits.
- Withdrawal: Gas fees can be paid using your Mythical Balance, credit/debit card, or with your connected Uphold wallet. Users who pay with cryptocurrencies via Uphold will have to pay an additional conversion fee.
- Deposit: Gas fee will be collected via connected Ethereum wallet.
Mythical does not currently charge an additional service fee on top of the gas fee for using the ETH Bridge.
Are gas fees static? If not, how often do they fluctuate?
Gas fees are dynamic, and they fluctuate.
Why are the Ethereum gas prices so high?
Ethereum gas prices are determined by the demand for the network. If a lot of users are trying to transact on the blockchain, it costs more. To read more about gas fees, go here.
Can I use my own Ethereum wallet to pay for the withdrawal gas fee?
Users must pay the gas fee for the deposit process with their own Ethereum wallet. Please refer to above “What is gas? Why do I have to pay it?” for more details.
Cooldown Timer
What is the Cooldown Timer feature?
The Cooldown Timer feature is a security feature that prevents withdrawals for a set number of days after a purchase or deposit in the Mythical ecosystem.
Why was this feature implemented?
This feature ensures quality in the marketplace and improves the safety of transacting for our users.
How will I know if the Cooldown Timer is active for my feature?
Users will see an error message when trying to withdraw an item that has an active cooldown timer.
How will I know how much time is left on the cooldown timer?
Currently there is no visual countdown on an item to let users know how much time is remaining. It is advised that you track the time from when you purchased the item or initiated the deposit. The email you receive from a purchase or a deposit will be a good source as to when the timer will start.
How long do I have to wait for the cooldown timer to be inactive?
The duration is subject to change during Beta while our team finds the optimal duration. As of now, the current duration is set to 48 hours.
Why does my item still have an active cooldown timer when I waited a few days already?
If you are still encountering errors with the timer after 3 days, please contact customer support with the item name(s) and mint number(s).
Support
I accidentally sent a non-Mythical NFT to the Mythical Chain deposit address, what do I do?
Please contact Customer Support with the following information:
- What is your Mythical account email?
- What is the ETH address that the token was sent from?
- What is the token ID?
I initiated the withdrawal/deposit and paid the fee, yet I haven't received the asset yet. When can I expect to receive my NFT
Please contact Mythical Customer Support with the below information:
- Did you wait 24-48 hours?
- Did you get an email with the transaction details?
- Did you verify on Etherscan.io of the transaction status?
- Did you import the BLNKS tokens to your wallet?
How do I initiate a deposit to the Mythical Chain?
Users can initiate a deposit from “My Collection” page only. Do not independently send Mythical NFTs to Mythical addresses on Ethereum, since those assets could be lost.
How do I set up my Metamask Wallet?
Refer to the Metamask instructions.
How do I set up my Coinbase Wallet?
Refer to the Coinbase instructions for browser and mobile.
Why can’t I see the ETH bridge features (deposit and withdrawal)?
In efforts to comply with applicable law, Mythical Games does not allow withdrawal or deposit transactions originating from certain countries. This means that your account may be restricted or ineligible to use the ETH Bridge. Below is a list of countries where transactions may currently be restricted:
- Belarus
- Burma/Myanmar
- Cuba
- Central African Republic
- DR of Congo
- Eritrea
- Iran
- Iraq
- Lebanon
- Libya
- North Korea
- Somalia
- Sudan
- Syria
- Zimbabwe
Some accounts may be restricted or ineligible to use the ETH bridge, please contact customer support if you have any questions.
The Blankos I withdrew automatically listed on OpenSea. What happened?
Users are advised to take down their OpenSea listing prior to depositing the item back to the Mythical Chain. OpenSea’s marketplace automatically relists items that were originally listed prior to the deposit. Please check your OpenSea item after withdrawing to verify its status.
My metadata on OpenSea and Rarible isn’t showing up. What should I do?
Navigate to the item page and press ‘Refresh’ (NOT from the browser). Wait a few minutes and reload the page.
