Why did you switch to Uphold?
The main reason for the change is to expand the number of regions that can participate fully in the Mythical Marketplace. With the integration of Uphold on September 30, we will now be able to support over 100 countries for selling. Partnering with Uphold also allows us to better support payouts in cryptocurrency, as well as payments in cryptocurrency.
We have plans to continue growing the already impressive list of countries available throughout our beta and into the launch of the Mythical Marketplace! Thank you for your continued support, and understanding during this time of change.
How do I connect my Uphold account to my Mythical account?
1. Go to Settings in your Mythical Marketplace account and select the tab that says Wallet.
2. When you are on this page, select the button that says Connect with Uphold. Once you have clicked on this button, it will open a new window to authorize access for your account.
3. Click Authorize and it will take you to the login screen.
4. From here you can either log in with your existing account or select Sign up now to create a new account.
Make sure to complete the setup of the account up to the point where you see the Uphold dashboard, or else Mythical Marketplace will not be able to connect to it appropriately.
This requires you to verify the email from Uphold.

Uphold is asking what are the source of my funds. What should I put there?
This depends on what is going to be your primary use for Uphold.
If it is going to be for Mythical Marketplace only, you can put Other as source of funds and Mythical Marketplace as the “other” source.
We suggest using your major source of income here.
How do I verify my identity in Uphold?
When you sign up, Uphold collects your legal name, date of birth, phone number and SSN (for US users). This helps them protect you from fraud and keep our community safe.

Can I link an Uphold account that is not mine?
Mythical partners with a number of third party providers in order to offer our users the best experience such as flexible payment options and the ability to withdraw currency.
It is critical that the person who created the Mythical account continues to provide full and accurate information about their own identity to all third party partners.
Providing inaccurate information, or attempting to provide other people's information to Mythical or any of our partners is a breach of our Terms of Service and may result in a permanent ban from the platform.
Additionally, our support team will be unable to assist any cases that may be attempting to violate these terms.
How do I unlink my Uphold account?
We are unable to assist with account unlinking at this time.
How do I change my Uphold email address?
You can easily update your email address associated with your Uphold account in the Profile section of your Mobile Wallet or Web Wallet. For step-by-step instructions, click here.
How do I change my personal tax information in Uphold?
If you have entered the wrong tax information (birthday, first or last name, etc.) into Uphold, you will need to contact Uphold Customer Support here for assistance.
Will I get an email when my sale funds go from pending to available?
No, payouts take 3 - 5 business days and you will not get an email when they transition from pending to available. You will get an email when you withdraw funds to your personal Uphold account.
I am getting an error while withdrawing funds. What should I do?
Please ensure that you verified your identity for your linked uphold account on wallet.uphold.com. For certain countries, Uphold requires identity verification before we can send you your funds.
I link my account but I get the following error message: “We’ve experienced an error in retrieving your Uphold account." What should I do?
Please ensure you have completed your payout account setup, by logging in at wallet.uphold.com and ensuring you can get to the dashboard page.
Also, please ensure that you accepted the verification email from Uphold.
Please contact Uphold Support if you have any trouble setting up your account.
I created an account with uphold and got the following message. What should I do? Can I use the Marketplace in the meantime?

Don't worry, your funds are safe and we'll be in touch about handling any available balance.
In the meantime, you can still buy and sell items on the Marketplace, your funds will go to the Marketplace Wallet and you will be able to use them to buy other items on the Marketplace.
However, you will be able to withdraw funds only after you create an Uphold account.
My Uphold account got hacked! What should I do?
If you believe that your Uphold account has been compromised or hacked, please get in touch with Uphold as soon as you can and they’ll restrict your account to prevent any withdrawals, until it's fully secured.
