What is the Vendor Blender?
The Vendor Blender is where you can go to customize your Blankos! You can customize your Blankos in two ways Mashing and Mixing.
What is a MashUP?
The process of Sampling the aesthetics from one Blanko and Splicing those characteristics into another Blanko to create a new, custom Blanko.
MashUP is also the term used to describe the final product of Mashing two Blankos.
Warning: MashUPs are irreversible and permanent. The good news is that you can preview your MashUP before committing to the change.
There is a cost to MashUP your Blankos, so this will need to be something you really want to do. Some Blankos will not be available to MashUP.
What is a Splice?
The Blanko that becomes permanently altered during the MashUP process.
When doing a MashUP, colors will be algorithmically applied to the Splice Blanko. After previewing a MashUP as a teaser, the result will be locked for 24 hours before a new teaser can be generated for that pair.
If you change one of those Blankos, regardless if it's a Splice or Sample, another teaser will be created and locked. This lock also applies to a MashUP with a gumball and single Mix MashUp as well.
After that 24-hour period, a new MashUP will be created when you bring that same Splice into the MashUP building. If a MashUP is applied to the Blanko, the timer will be reset and a new MashUP teaser can be created.
If you like the result, be sure to finalize the MashUP before the 24 hours is up.
What is a Sample?
The Blanko from which aesthetics are taken during MashUP. The Sample Blanko remains on the player’s Shelf and is unchanged.
What is a Mix?
The process of customizing a single Blanko using only gumballs.
As with MashUPs, the Mix process will permanently alter your Blanko, so be sure you want to change this Blanko before confirming! You will be able to preview your Blanko before you commit to the change.
What are Gumballs?
A consumable item that players can use to affect the outcome of their MashUP, including affecting what colors the Final Blanko can have.
Gumballs can be bought with Blanko Bucks or Moola, or earned through special accomplishments.
What are Gumballs and their effects?
Gumballs allow you to customize your Blanko. Here are some examples of gumballs below:
- Primary Color - changes the overall color of a Blanko.
- Color Blend - Blends or mixes two Blankos together by a specific ratio set by the gumball, including their colors.
- Inverse Color - Inverts the colors of parts of a Blanko.
- Palette - changes the overall color choices for a Blanko.
